Kim Mangrobang is a triathlete who competes in swimming, cycling, and running events at national and international levels. She dedicates much of her time to training, preparing for races, and traveling to compete in various locations worldwide. Kim’s journey in triathlon began at the young age of nine, driven by her passion for sports. She quickly excelled in swimming, cycling, and running, laying the foundation for her future success as a triathlete.
Through unwavering determination, Kim has won races and achieved numerous awards through the years since. Apart from winning the gold at the SEA Games multiple times, she is also a 5-time national triathlon, a 2021 national duathlon champion, and the highest ranked Filipino triathlon in the world. Today, she continues to dream big, train hard, and chase down every finish line.
Kim emerged as a rising star in the triathlon scene, representing the Philippines in various national and international competitions. Her consistent performances and podium finishes garnered attention and recognition, solidifying her status as one of the country’s top triathletes.
Mangrobang’s breakthrough moment came at the Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games), where she clinched multiple medals in triathlon events. Her success at the SEA Games further elevated her profile and established her as a formidable competitor in the region.
Kim has also made her mark on the Asian Triathlon Championships, showcasing her talent and competitiveness against top athletes from across the continent. Her podium finishes in these prestigious championships underscore her ability to excel on the international stage.
Mangrobang considers it a significant milestone in her career should she be able to represent the Philippines in the triathlon event at the Olympic Games.
